Post-Publication Discussion
PUSKAPSI Law Review recognizes that scientific communication and evaluation do not end after an article is published. Post-publication discussion is an essential part of scientific communication, allowing readers, authors, academics, practitioners, and other members of the scientific community to respond, ask questions, convey academic criticism, or provide clarification on published articles.
PUSKAPSI Law Review welcomes post-publication discussions that are relevant, constructive, evidence-based, and contribute to the development of science and the improvement of the quality of community service, particularly in health and related fields that align with the journal's focus and scope.
Form of Post-Publication Discussion
Post-publication discussions may include, but are not limited to:
Comments or letters to the editor (Letters to the Editor), containing academic responses, questions, criticisms, or clarifications to published articles.
Author Responses, which are explanations or responses from the author to substantive comments or criticisms submitted regarding their articles.
Methodological and scientific critiques, including discussions of the research methods, data analysis, interpretation of results, limitations of the research, and the appropriateness of the conclusions to the reported evidence.
Clarifications or corrections, if factual errors, misrepresentations, inaccuracies, or other errors are found in the published article.
Feedback regarding publication integrity, if information or evidence raises questions about the reliability of the data, the ethics of the research, authorship, conflicts of interest, or other aspects of publication integrity.
Submission of Post-Publication Discussions
Readers, researchers, practitioners, authors, and other interested parties may submit comments or responses to published articles through the official JAI communication channels listed on the journal website.
Submissions for discussion discussions should include:
Full name, affiliation, and email address of the sender.
Article title, author(s), and DOI or a link to the article(s) being discussed.
A clear and specific description of the comments, questions, or criticisms.
An academic rationale for the comments, accompanied by supporting evidence or references, if available.
A statement of any potential conflicts of interest related to the article or discussion.
Comments must be written in professional, objective, and polite language, and focused on the scientific substance of the article. PUSKAPSI Law Review will not consider comments containing personal attacks, discriminatory language, insults, defamation, accusations without sufficient evidence, or material irrelevant to the article's content.
