PUSKAPSI Law Review strictly prohibits plagiarism and self-plagiarism in any form. All submitted manuscripts are screened using plagiarism detection software to ensure the originality and integrity of the published work. Authors are required to properly acknowledge and cite all sources, including direct quotations, paraphrased materials, and ideas derived from other works.
To detect textual overlap and similarity, the editorial team of PUSKAPSI Law Review conducts plagiarism screening using Turnitin. The similarity check is performed during the initial editorial assessment prior to the peer review process. Manuscripts with a similarity index exceeding 30% will be rejected outright. If the similarity index is between 25% and less than 30%, authors will be required to revise the manuscript at the initial revision stage to reduce the similarity index to a maximum of 10%.
Manuscripts with a similarity index of 25% or below may proceed to the next stage of the editorial process, provided that all similarities are justified through proper citation and quotation. The editorial board reserves the right to take appropriate action in accordance with publication ethics standards if plagiarism or unethical citation practices are identified at any stage of the review or publication process.
